RUSSIAN BALLET THEATRE: SWAN LAKE
Russian Ballet Theatre (RBT) on tour in USA, 2019. My 14 years old daughter and I went to see the new production of "Swan Lake" choreographed by Nadezhda Kalinina at Harris Center, Folsom, CA on October 3rd, 2019. Summarazing the whole experience in one word, that was AMAZING!!! The costumes were rich and heavily decorated, stage set designs were captivating, lead dancers poured their hearts into dance, choreography was excellent, the corps de ballet were well synchronized and just beautiful. That was a sold out performance, and there was a well deserved standing ovation after the performance. I wished the Russian Ballet Theatre would have had one more performance of "Swan Lake" the next day, but alas, they were on the move to another state immdeiately after the performance. I am looking forward to see the Russian Ballet Theatre's new performances next year. And PLEEASE bring back "Swan Lake"!!! That was an outstanding performance! A must see for all ballet lovers.
