Join the San Jose Dance Theatre for this delectable holiday treat; a performance of the beloved festive fantasy especially abbreviated for young audiences. Through excerpts of E.T.A Hoffman's glorious story, the little ones will be wowed by spectacular scenes of Clara and her Nutcracker Prince's adventures, from daring duels with the Mouse King to the glittering realm of the Sugar Plum Fairy!
Running at only 55 minutes, this one-off performance is a great way to introduce your kiddos to the magic of The Nutcracker, giving them a taste of the show in a format that'll keep their attention, before they're ready for the full show. One of the holiday period's most enduring ballets, The Nutcracker was first performed in 1949 in San Francisco and remains an unmissable sell-out experience in towns and cities all over the country.
